Urban Decay: Alice in Wonderland palette

I was going through photos then I realized I forgot to blog about the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette. My ‘soon’ has taken almost ages. *lol*

Air21 package

I pre-ordered the limited-edition palette around the month of February and it arrived by early April. Super worth the wait!

Sephora packaging

When I saw the Sephora packaging, I suddenly miss being in the US and visiting Sephora even if I didn’t have any money to shop. 😛

I slowly opened the package and took lots of pictures. It’s that special that it requires much camwhoring. XD

I see it. ^o^

I’m glad that it arrived in good condition. I heard one got hers with broken eyeshadows. Or was it the mirror? I forgot. I just remember that it might have been mishandled. The box of the palette itself isn’t that hard, so it could be easily pressed or deformed.

Back of the palette’s container box

There are 16 shades overall. Nothing new. The eyeshadows were only renamed to fit the Alice in Wonderland theme.

Other than the 16 eyeshadows, there are two eyepencils — Zero and Flipside — and the famous eyeshadow primer in a small bottle.

Check the cute Alice in Wonderland pop-out. 😀

The only downside of the palette is that it’s big and annoying when I have to fully pull out to use the colors on top.

Here are more pictures of the pop-out:

Then a closer look at the eyeshadows. I did not use the camera’s flash, so the eyeshadows would stay true to their color. I ended up brightening them a bit though. :3

Chessur is a good color

All of them can be used for any time of the day, I believe. 🙂

I ♥ the color green, so I must learn how to use that Absolem. Hehe~

The eye pencils and eyeshadow primer:

Zero (black) and Flipside (blue)

I haven’t used Flipside because I don’t think blue works for me.

I’m so glad the palette came with a primer. I have been hearing good things about it, so I wanted to try before I purchase a full-sized bottle. I must say, it does wonders as it hides little hairs that I couldn’t pluck. 😛 It doesn’t even leave map-like stains like the Etude House eyeshadow primer.

The palette might not be available in either Urban Decay’s website nor Sephora’s anymore. If you badly want one, eBay might be the last and best option. Prepare to shell out a lot.
