During my trip to Malaysia, I bought Mircoz Fiber Lash Extender Kit which promises to volumize and lengthen the lashes. Since I have short and weird eyelashes, I decided to purchase the expensive kit. It did keep its promise as shown in my photos below.

Lashes with Mircoz Fiber Lash Extender
I wrote an extensive review on the Mircoz Fiber Lash Extender Kit in my personal beauty blog. Head there if you want to know more about the product.
I don’t normally use mineral makeup. I’ve tried Bare Escentuals after buying their starter kit and the mineral made my face feel leathery and dry. I’m not sure if it was an allergic reaction or the kabuki brush that comes with the kit is just too tough on my skin but I continued using the set for months until I found a better replacement.
Bio Remedies Therapeutic Cosmetic (BRTC) is one of the more reputable cosmetic companies in Korea and based on online reviews, they have a lot of fans. Their BB cream line is very popular. I was able to try their “best” BB cream, the BRTC Recover Balm, and I was very impressed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to take photos to make a review post. To make up for that, here is my review of BRTC Glossy BB Cream based on a sample I bought ages ago but only got to try recently. Unfortunately, I think this particular BB cream has been discontinued. I don’t see it in http://www.skinami.co.kr/ nor http://www.brtcstore.com/.
This review should have been written last year but alas, my mind is always a-wander. So without further ado, I give you my thoughts on Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo.
Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo claims that we will have long fluttering lashes when we use it. I read good reviews about the product on the internet so I gave it a try and ordered one online. I am impressed with its packaging which is very luxe and elegant. No wonder gothic lolitas love Majolica Majorca.
Last April, I shared here the mess that was my desk and one product I mentioned to have bought was the Revlon ColorStay Mineral Foundation.
“Pure, lightweight, loose powder mineral foundation that is good for your skin and wears for up to 16 hours.”
I usually use liquid foundation but since our summers can get very hot and it gets just too heavy and sweaty to wear liquid foundation on a regular basis, I wanted to switch back to powder foundation. Then there was my long standing curiosity to use mineral make-up. I was on a moderate budget so the Revlon ColorStay Mineral Foundation seemed to fit the bill.
I tried Hanskin Caviar Gold BB Cream for a couple of weeks and finally surrendered that it’s not suited for my skin. It makes my face very pale and dries my skin because of its thick consistency. This product is more suited for those with oily skin and very fair complexion, probably caucasian skin.
The Hanskin Caviar Gold BB Cream has SPF 21, aloe, caviar and vitamin B. It has whitening and wrinkle-prevention ingredients as well.
My search for a makeup remover led me to the Clarins counter. I’ve tried the Lait Demaquillant Velours before but the maid broke the bottle I bought. It’s only a few days ago that I replaced it. I bought a bottle of Benefit Gee That Was Quick Makeup Remover when I was in Singapore but I stored it in my carry-all so the airport lady confiscated it. What a waste of money *tears*
Tis time for another beauty product review! Let me introduce you to my new favorite blush, MAC Pink Swoon.
Let me just say that this blush is sooo great. It’s very light pink which, when applied, makes the girl appear blushing! I think this is better than NARS’ Blush in Orgasm. There is a drawback to this great product though. It will only work on fair skin. Otherwise, the blush wouldn’t show. I already have fair skin and Pink Swoon barely registers on camera. See the photo below.
I just got back from Singapore with a paperbag-full of makeup. Oh yeah, the Benefit “Gee That Was Quick” Makeup Remover was confiscated from my carry-on bag because it’s liquid. Bummer. Anyway, this post is about FANCL, not Benefit.
I bought my FANCL Washing Powder 50g for SG$26 (P800+) from Isetan along Orchard Road. FANCL is a Japanese brand established in the 7o’s if I’m not mistaken. I was amused by its novelty because it is powder and I have to use a foaming ball to make the powder into foam. So I bought it and only got to try it awhile ago.
