Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter
Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditioning and Honey Lip Balms
I received these from the exchange gift at Team Aguhon’s Christmas dinner. They came in boxes that can be hung to a Christmas tree. Such a cute idea to instead of placing them under. I already started to use the Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm and it works nice under lipsticks. Lipsticks go smooth and even over it and prevents lip dryness especially from lipsticks that do dry then out.
So here’s my body and skin care that I’ve been using since this year started. I think I should switch or add sunblock and SPF products in there. It’s summer time! But several of these are nearly empty, so I’ll definitely start using sunblock and other for summer products. 🙂
Hasn’t it been very cold lately? Colder than last year’s and this chilly weather even started earlier than I expected. I like it actually because I get to wear my jackets, sweaters, or blazers to work without arriving in the office looking as though I took a bath in my own sweat. But the AC in our office adjusts to the weather outside (because it’s fucked like that), so if baby it’s cold outside, then it’s way colder in the office. With the cold weather outside and chiller office, my skin from head to toe has suffered from extreme dryness. Thankfully I don’t have scaly skin, but it’s still annoying. I had to change some of my skin care products to keep up with my extremely dry skin.

My toenails were battered from wearing high heels and closed shoes for hours in a day that’s why they ended up dry and cracked. I have heard of cuticle creams, but from online browsing did I discover how popular the Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream is. Because they say it is effective.
A couple of months ago, I bought the Burt’s Bees Tips and Toes Kit because my toenails were extremely dry. Coating my toe nails with nail polish didn’t work because it cracked quickly and the dryness of the nails became more visible that it kept me from wearing slippers outside the house. Well, as much as I could help it. So I decided on getting the Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream. Yet, since I have callouses from the shoes I acquired just this year, I got this kit instead:
I already splurged a lot from last Christmas and early this year when I was in the US (because: Sephora). Since then, I always reminded myself I will not buy any cosmetics until this year ends, but there were a few that I needed. About two weeks ago, I purchased this pressed powder from theBalm because my Clinique powder was running out.
A purchase I don’t regret. And yesterday I bought this Burt’s Bees Tips and Toes Kit:
