I got envious of the many beauty video bloggers I’ve been watching lately because of their nails. Since I couldn’t help it anymore (this was two weekends ago, actually), I went out just to buy some some nail polishes.
I’ve already tried the two nail polishes, but reviews today will be except China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Tree Hugger.
Starting off with the Sally Hansen Extra Strength/Extra Fast Nail Polish Remover — I ♥ this one — Has a nice scent, my fingers don’t feel dry, and it doesn’t leave any white spots unlike regular acetone. Costs PhP225 at The Landmark Makati.
The China Glaze No-Chip Top Coat I also bought to further protect my nails from getting chipped off quickly from guitar playing.
Apply one coat to nail lacquer. Wait 60 seconds, then apply a second coat. For best results, finish with Fast Freeze Quick Dry.
Matte finish nail lacquers will get a gloss finish when topped with this. I only got to try this once — The time I bought this — And now I only have less than 1/8 of the bottle left. =_= Yesterday morning I accidentally knocked over my basket of nail polishes and the screw or neck part got cut off. The glass looks brittle. I don’t know if transferring would be a good idea. Right now I just let it be. If it dries, well, sorry for me. Man, I feel so bad. I think i should have kept it inside the box. I guess I won’t be repurchasing because of this experience. Besides, I did notice that I don’t need it. The nail polishes already lasted longer than I expected with hardly chipping even compared to having applied Top Coat. Costs PhP430 also at The Landmark Makati.
Lastly, my current nail color: China Glaze Nail Lacquer in Flying Dragon 😀
I applied this the second time yesterday and finally got it right. With two coats, I got a solid beautiful eggplant color finish. LOL It has micro-glitters of blue. I don’t know what is its effect. It just makes the nail polish look rough when applied with the No-Chip Top Coat.
China Glaze Nail Lacquers are available in The Landmark at PhP350 each.
I can’t wait to get more colors. I’m already an Essie and a couple of Zoya. 😀
