I used to have my ‘femmestache’ removed at a salon or by myself, but it’s expensive in the long run since my ‘stache hair grows fast. So I switched to hair removal creams, which I only decided while on a vacation in US. That was 10 years ago. I accompanied my Mom to Target, checked their beauty section, and discovered the Sally Hansen hair removal cream. I used a different product before, of course. It’s gross if I still use the same one until now. LOL! I now use the Sally Hansen Creme Hair Remover Duo Kit.
This has been with me for a while now because… That’s a big tube just to use for my femmestache!
This hair remover is cheaper than constant salon appointments and is time saving. I may have very high tolerance to pain and, though waxing femmestache is not that painful, a true pain-free experience is still better. My hair doesn’t grow as fast as it normally would too.
Besides the hair removal cream, it also comes with an aftercare lotion. Idk if mine evaporated during the flight (I also bought this in the US), so I got to use this very few times only. I now use a moisturizer as a substitute.
I barely follow the rules of use: I apply that amount of cream on my ‘stache area until a little past the corners of my lips. I apply more if needed especially where there seems to be more tiny hairs. I make sure I’m in front of a fan or I have the AC on because the cream is ineffective when I perspire.
If you still go to a salon to have your femmestache removed, I highly suggest you try facial hair removal creams instead. Imagine if you suddenly got a date and, even if your femmestache is slightly unnoticeable, you still want to go to the salon to have that removed. But it’s late. Salons are closed. Uh-oh! XD;
I saw the same product in The Landmark Makati not too long ago. It should be available in department and beauty stores. If I remember right, the price is between PhP500 to Php600.
Oh, if you’re wondering, my Strip session for this month is done. 😉
