Continuing with the monthly tradition, here we have our favorites for October! Let’s start off with my partner in crime…
Chanel Rouge Allure Ink 150 Luxuriant
The best liquid lipstick Shabby has used that doesn’t (or hasn’t lol!) get on her teeth. Shabby says it’s lightweight that she forgets she have it on. It’s not tacky, non-drying, and stays on looooong especially on top of lip liner.
Clinique Pop Oil Lip & Cheek Glow 04 Black Honey Glow
Shabby has preached that this little fella moisturizes lips while giving it a dark brown-red stain that actually stays on long even when the oil is gone and longer when reapplied/retouched. I have tried this from the Clinique booth but budget has hindered me from purchasing one of my own. You will be mine, next time!
CoverGirl The Super Sizer Black Brown
Shabby loves that this mascara is cheap and doesn’t flake, smudge, and transfer in spite of her oily lids. It volumizes and lengthens without clumping.
This month, I only have two that I can consider favorites.
Dior Diorblush Light & Contour 001
This duo stick remains in my list of favorites for two consecutive months as I have been using this every day! I just love that it’s both a highlighter and contour so traveling with it is convenient. It lasts for so many hours when properly set and the pigmentation is just exquisitely awesome. I’d purchase another stick in a heartbeat, if the budget allows. Hahaha! We’ll see.
Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation Suntan
You’ve seen my review of this before, if you haven’t it’s just here: Gotta Love Laura Mercier Foundation. It’s a gift for ladies with oily skin like me.
And lastly, I’m adding this lipstick to my favorites because I’ve been using it a lot during the last week of October. But I still have my reservations using it, so it’s a sorta-favorite. D’you know what I mean? It’s up for a review soon… This is the…
theBalm Meet Matt(e) Hughes Trustworthy
Like I said earlier, I still have it out for a test drive, but so far, it’s doing so well in terms of longevity. It doesn’t stain my teeth, it’s a gorgeous color, and it doesn’t transfer unless you’re eating something very oil.
So that’s for October. I’m also going to switch up my colors and products for the month of November, because this month is special to me. I have a few products in line for review, so watch out for that.
But do tell us, have you tried any of the products we’ve listed down? How was your experience with them? What were your October favorites? Hit us up on the comments below. Ciao!
