New beauty buys!

Good morning, ladies! It’s hump day. I’m excited for the paydayweekend in a couple of days and to watch Captain America: Civil War tonight. 😀 I’m also excited to show you my beauty buys. Hihi~

The past few weeks I did some beauty and skin care shopping, which isn’t impulse really because most of them I do need — I need more makeup to review for Glam Love. (LOLOL! Justify pa!)

The Balm's In the Balm of Your Hand palette and Deborah Mogano Blusher

The Balm’s In the Balm of Your Hand palette and Deborah Mogano Blusher

theBalm’s In the Balm of Your Hand

I find theBalm to be underrated. I really liked the Sexy Mama Anti-Shine Translucent Powder I used. Actually, I just remembered that it has good oil control. Some bloggers say many good things about their other products especially the Mary-Lou Manizer. I wanted that, their bronzer/contour, and range of blushes. I prefer a palette that has those instead of single pans, but their palettes are mostly of eye shadows. Then theBalm released, only this recent holiday season, the In the Balm of Your Hand that includes the ‘greatest hits’ of their blushes, contour, highlighter, eye shadows, and lip shades. It’s an awesome deal! What makes it more awesome is that I got it at a discounted price! Because one of the eye shadows broke, but it’s no biggie to me. 🙂

Deborah Mogano Blush

I see Catrice and Essence in SM Makati and have been very curious about these brands. Since somebody I know asked for blush recommendations, I decided to give one of these brands a try. I heard they have good products and are affordable too. But I was only able to test Catrice’s blushes. I was unimpressed. Deborah was recommended by the saleslady assisting me at the time.

Nivea, Tony Moly, L'Oreal

Nivea, Tony Moly, L’Oreal
(That’s my dog’s tail there. XD; )

Nivea

Was everyone able to get shop during Nivea’s sale? Those available at SM Makati when I went shopping was all whitening and firming body lotions, so those were what I bought. A couple of huge ones for home and another two for travel.

L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil Miracle Hair Oil Treatment

When I wasn’t looking, I suddenly find this in the store. 🙂 I was curious about this hair oil when I saw it from another beauty blogger. I hope it works on my mane. 😀

Tony Moly Pure Cotton Face Sheets

Smells nice, cool on the face, and costs only PhP78 each.

I got more new stuff, but I’ll save them for another post. I might show them on IG tho. 😀

[…] Recently, I bought the L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil. I read a positive review on it from another beauty blog–forgot whose as usual–so I bought it when I saw it at SM Makati. The persuasion is stronger when you see only three bottles left. LOL! […]

[…] Some more background on when I bought the Deborah Hi-Tech Blusher in Mogano — The person who made the request asked me about Catrice. I haven’t tried anything from the brand, but some of their products have good reviews. So I tried all their blushes and they were either too shimmery and powdery–Fall-out was bad. The sales lady recommended Deborah since it was at the next aisle. I’ve been curious about the brand too because that’s usually the first I see when I go to SM Makati’s beauty section. […]
