The other lip gloss and the one I barely use 😛 is the Maybelline Fruity Jelly in Creamy Guava.
As the shade name suggests, the lip gloss _is_ creamy with a slightly thick consistency. With my experience with another Fruity Jelly, I thought it would have a sheer finish even though in the tube it looks so opaque. Well, it’s not that opaque, but it’s not sheer as I thought it would be. The finish is semi-opaque and very glossy. It’s a little more lighter or washed off than its pink with gold sheen color. Fruity Jelly lip glosses have fruity candy scents and this is no exception.
Unlike Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss in Copper, this lip gloss feels heavy on the lips and is tackier. The latter is the reason why I barely use it. I wanted to use it daily or for office, but instead decided on the other one. Because when it’s windy, my hair would get on my lips, end up covering my face, and if I brush my hair off, I feel as though I get streaks of lip gloss on my face. Ugh! On application and finish though, this is better because it needs less effort on application probably because of the slightly thick consistency. I can put it on even without mirror! 🙂
Because it’s very glossy and its color is very light pink with gold sheen, this is best paired with dark eye makeup.
