L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Sun Beige

I’m back home and in the blog! ๐Ÿ˜€ Juggling several blogs and the vacation was impossible, so I posted only one entry last month. ^^;;; Anyway, on to the post.

Ever since I bought the L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Sun Beige, I’ve been using it almost daily. I was able to test it through two summers and some rainy days. It never failed on either hot or rainy days. The wear lasts almost eight hours which is great for a work day. But I think the powder that I purchased with it also helps. I barely need to retouch. That’s one thing less from my cosmetic kit. ๐Ÿ˜‰

L’Oreal’s sale was good timing because I was on a budget with all the trips I would have. The regular price of the foundation PhP899. The sale price was PhP600. Good deal, right? I needed a foundation because I didn’t want to use my Clinique for daily use. We all know Clinique is not _that_ affordable.

I was often in a hurry in Switzerland, so I’m happy the foundation has sunscreen/SPF 17 because I either forget or skip applying sunscreen. My face was safe from the heat, but my body got tanned. ๐Ÿ˜

With just the right amount, my problem red areas and blemishes are covered well. Normally I just apply on the center of my face and a little on my chin and forehead. On days when my skin is problematic, I only apply more and it wouldn’t look cake-y. I find that I can even skip concealing with this. My eye bags would still need concealing though. Haha~ ๐Ÿ™

Good thing I have jar containers, most of which are from samples. I could use them for this. The bottle is the only less convenient about it, but it’s not really wise to bring a bottle of foundation in your cosmetic kit should there be a need. When I went to Switzerland, I brought a couple of small jars full of the foundation, but used only nearly half of one. The consistency is creamy, btw, so pouring requires attention and care.

Even if the foundation wasn’t on sale, it would be worth money. The risk too, because I’m usually cautious of skin products like moisturizers, toners, and foundations out of fear of getting a breakout, and none of them happened to my skin. ๐Ÿ™‚ I actually regret not buying two. Next time I need to buy another affordable foundation, I might get something else because there’s a lot to try…. Right? This will still be a top option though. ๐Ÿ™‚
