Holiday beauty gifts and buys

I’ll start with the gifts.

Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm with Kokum Butter

Burt's Bees lip balms

Burt’s Bees Ultra Conditioning and Honey Lip Balms

I received these from the exchange gift at Team Aguhon’s Christmas dinner. They came in boxes that can be hung to a Christmas tree. Such a cute idea to instead of placing them under. I already started to use the Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm and it works nice under lipsticks. Lipsticks go smooth and even over it and prevents lip dryness especially from lipsticks that do dry then out.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil Trio Set

For months I wanted to get my hands on the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil and when my Aunt/Ninang (godmother) asked what I wanted, I immediately replied “the Clarins lip oils.” 😊 These lip oils have positive reviews and they really are very good and recommendable items.

Part skin care, part makeup, Instant Light Lip aComfort Oil has a unique sensorial feel on the lips; the smooth, comfortable sensation of an oil and a high-shine, plumping result with no sticky feel. A breakthrough formula resulting from all the expertise of Clarins oils. Day after day, the lips are transformed. Perfectly nourished, they are once again supple and fuller-looking.

Fuller lips and incredible shine.
A melting, lip-plumping formula which combines the comfort of an oil and the high-shine result of a gloss for radiant, fuller-looking lips.

Nourished, soothed lips and total comfort.
A combination of three plant oils cares for lips by instantly nourishing and soothing, providing total comfort. Hazelnut, raspberry and organic jojoba oils, rich in fatty acids, protect against hydration, to help restore incredibly beautiful, radiant lips.

A unique sensorial feel and pure pleasure for lips.
The Lip Comfort Oil formula feels wonderful on the lips, with its irresistible fragrance of red fruits and a subtle, sweet flavour.

I ♥ these. I’m addicted to them! I use the lip oils for moisture and hydration; on their own or as topper.

On to my purchases…

The Meet Matt(e) Hughes are underrated liquid lipsticks. A subreddit group influencedurged me to buy this set being I have none yet. They told me these are non-drying, comfortable, and long-wearing. All are true.

Swatches

Dedicated is my most favorite. I will definitely buy a full-sized tube when the mini runs out.

Size comparison with a regular lipstick (that’s a NARS Audicious Lipstick)

Dior Splendor, Diorshow, and Backstage Pro

And my most expensive purchase of them all.

Dior

From left to right: Dior Rosy Glow
Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in 765
Dior Diorshow Pro Liner 772
Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono in 751 Infinity
Dior Diorific Splendor Illuminating Pressed Powder 001

My most favorite among these has to be Rosy Glow. (It is actually in my January faves that shall be posted soon.)

Splendor is Dior’s holiday 2016 collection that includes the illuminating pressed powder, lipsticks, eyeshadows, and nail polish to name some. I have a couple of the liquid lipsticks and the gold-shade lipstick, which I bought a couple of months earlier.

I think that’s all of them. I’m happy with my purchases, but my wallet isn’t. 😆 Oh, I’m happy with the gifts too, of course. If there’s anything from them that you want me to review first, please let me know and I would be delighted to do so.
