FOTN: HNY!

Happy new year, lovelies! I hope you all had a joyous, safe, and filling celebration. I also hope you took the time to ponder why you are celebrating for the new year’s. Mine was for my accomplishments and lessons learned from all that has happened to me in 2012. I’m grateful to have survived the year. In regards to beauty, I tried to limit my beauty shopping. I told myself I will keep myself from buying anything until I review at least 70% of my makeup. But that kind of failed during the later part of the year. *looks at Estee Lauder purchase* Well, I have no regrets for that purchase. I also tried to be more daring with colors. I used to be afraid bright pink, yet I got myself hooked to fuschias. Also, more friends know now that I really am into makeup especially eyeshadows and lipsticks. 😀

Anyway, even though I was just at home for new year’s, I still thought of preppin’ myself up.

On my face, I used:

  • Missha Moist Foundation in Warm30
  • Estee Lauder Smoothing Creme Concealer in Smooth Medium 03
  • Physician’s Formula Mineral Wear Loose Powder in Translucent Light
  • Revlon Beyond Natural in Nude

I used mostly Estee Lauder eyeshadows. I would have opted to make my eye makeup darker, but I thought it was best to keep it a bit down since I was just at home. 😛

  • UD E/S Primer Potion
  • Estee Lauder E/S Ginger Drop (lid and lower lashes)
  • Estee Lauder E/S Camouflage (crease)
  • Estee Lauder E/S Chocolate (outer-V)
  • UD E/S Oil Slick (upper lashes)
  • UD E/S Polyester Bride (browbone)
  • Estee Lauder E/S Cappuchino (lower lashes)
  • Clinique High Impact Mascara in Black

And, because I missed using it, I used Laura Mercier Creme Lip Color in Roman Moon.

I also curled my hair that night, but I didn’t do it properly so I cropped off the messy hair. LOL
