Besides with gadgets, I’d hate to forget anything and end up buying when I could get something else instead. So I packed my vanity kit a few days before my India trip. I needed to pack my Bifesta, which was already more than halfway the bottle. I thought I could empty and dispose that on the trip. Since packed early, I needed a new makeup remover to use on the days before the trip. At the time, micellar water and the likes of Bifesta seemed weren’t enough to clean my face. My face broke out at the time. Then I heard one of my favorite beauty vloggers talk about Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm.
This Clinique makeup remover has the consistency of a balm, but turns to oil upon application. I love that I only need to gently massage it all over my face and just a little more around the eyes when I have stubborn eye makeup on. There’s no tugging or pulling of skin, which happens when I get impatient taking off makeup.
Here’s a sample of how it fares.
Sorry about the lighting. I wasn’t pleased with the photos I took and settled with this.
I know there are more makeup removers available now that are quite affordable compared to this, but I would still recommend it as it completely AND gently removes makeup fast. One tub could last months because you don’t need a ton to remove a full face makeup. I’ve had this for more than a month now and used an eighth of it… Yeah, I think just an eighth. 😀
Clinique is available in Rustan’s counters and has stores in SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia.
