I realized I didn’t say why the lack of updates in this post. Returning to blogging was difficult with the sudden workload after my trip, though I’m slowly getting back to the groove.
Anyway, I have a foundation review, which I can’t believe I haven’t blogged about. I used this before and almost forgot about it.
Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF15 in 66 True Beige
The Clinique Even Better Makeup SPF 15 is also skin care as it evens skin tone and clarifies.
Without any makeup, see improved clarity, a more even skin tone, visibly diminished age spots. For all ethnicities. In just 4 to 6 weeks. Broad spectrum SPF helps protect against future darkening.
I want to say, right off, I would very much recommend this to anyone who is acne-prone, currently breaking out, or has blemishes they want to get rid of. It does what it is expected.
It diminished dark spots and evened my skin tone back then, so I had to use this again because of the breakout I had a couple of months ago that left blemishes around my chin. Thank goodness I still have the foundation with some left; enough to do wonders on my skin issues. 🙂
These are other of its pros:
- Has SPF, yet doesn’t wash out my face
- Moderate to full finish
- Doesn’t feel heavy on skin
- Long-lasting and can withstand humidity
- Has oil-control–Keeps me fresh-looking for hours
Here’s a before and after application comparison:
I could actually skip concealer if not for my dark under-eye.
Similar to my other foundations, my nose still gets oily by the fifth hour. But that can be easily fixed by blotting then spritzing my current favorite face mist. No need to retouch.
We all know Clinique is not a drugstore brand, but still not as expensive compared to other high-end products. It is worth every cent and you still get 30mL of foundation like any other.
I swear by this product–My HG! Again, if you are acne-prone, currently breaking out, or has blemishes they want to get rid of, you must consider this foundation. It comes in a variety of shades, so there’s one for anyone. 😛 I will surely repurchase after I finish this and another foundation (because I have so much!).
Oh, for those who want to know what I did for Christmas, I have a quick post on it here. Merry Christmas again! 😀
