Happy holidays, pretties! Whether you spend this day with your loved ones or alone, I hope you’re still having a grand day. 🙂
A collective post on my loot from third quarter this year to present. There are some I couldn’t find photos I took of, so I didn’t include them here. I don’t want to retake because I don’t remember when I bought them should I remember which ones they are from my makeup stuff. Anyway, I added my initial impressions per product below.
Benefit Rockitude! – I only wanted the Benetint, but I saw this and thought this was such a good deal. I get to try the High Beam too!
Benefit Porefessional – This great for travel since, for a face powder, it comes with a brush instead of a puff.
Continuing with the monthly tradition, here we have our favorites for October! Let’s start off with my partner in crime…
Yesterday, I posted in my website a review of NYX Liquid Suede in Stone Fox–A deep gray with blue undertone liquid creme lipstick. I mentioned that I did a look with it.
With a gray lipstick, it’s easy to look dead or washed out. So I did this makeup somewhat as a guide to help create a look to match with the rockin’ Stone Fox. 🙂 Tbh, I forgot most of the products I used, but you don’t have to limit yourself to the same products. You can use what you already have or something similar.
Hello, lovelies! We are finally doing monthly favorites. This has been a long time coming. 🙂
Joiz’s September Favorites
Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Seduction
The Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor range is one of the good liquid lipsticks in the drugstore imo. No surprise that Joiz likes it as well, specifically Seduction that she uses for her everyday or work makeup look.
I had confused this with another Clinique event and it has taken this long for me to realize this Lip and Smile and that Play with Pop were different. LOL! Anyway, the Clinique Lip and Smile was a free makeover offer with tips and tricks on makeup on-trend such as thick brows and ombre lips. I had the ‘boyfriend brows’ and bold lips, which were both suggested to me, and Joiz had the ‘Rebel Chic’ look.
It all started with the The Body Shop’s Dusty Rose Lip and Cheek Stain. There’s nothing like having natural-looking pink flushed cheeks to brighten my face and make me look more awake (especially during long hours at work!). Then when I was persuaded to stay for a night in Shangri-La Fort because it was already late when I got done with gym, I only had my mascara, powder, concealer, and Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain Honey to use. My face looked flat and pale, but the Balm Stain really gave my face the ‘life’ it needed. My liking for pinks have rekindled. 🙂
my birth monththis month started, I switched up my makeup with more pinks–Mostly lippies that are great for either day or evening looks. I haven’t thoroughly checked my collection, but these are my picks so far:
I only wanted to check the NYX stall in SM Makati, but ended up buying and even two more items.
A couple of Saturdays ago, June 18, 2016, Joiz tagged me along to Clinique at Rustan’s Makati for a tutorial on how to create the Play With Pop Bare and Sweet Looks with makeup artist Czari.
