This makeup was done real quick. The eye makeup is quite messy and I haven’t groomed my brows because I’m letting them grow. Maybe I shouldn’t have posted this, but what the heck… I still look human and I like this look. 😀
In spite the exhaustion from yesterday morning’s inspection all over Makati, I still pushed through farming and tanking with other *insert game here* players. I can’t disclose yet what game it is until I blog about it. 😀 Anyway, I wanted to personally meet the mucho friendly people who welcomed me to their group.
I did a dark eye makeup since I would be meeting them late night plus I feel like doing dark eye makeup more often (or as long as I’m not going to the office).
Here’s another (easy) office/work make-up look. For this, I use mostly those from the Laura Mercier Luxe Colour Wardrobe Dual Decker Colour for Eyes & Cheeks which I have been happily using ever since I purchased it. Total Laura Mercier convert now that I already have a couple in mind for my next purchase from them. 😀
This Lancôme quad eyeshadow beats all my other eyeshadows. Its longevity is the best.
This quad eyeshadow palette contains four shades some of which, based on research as of writing, is available in singles.
Suntouched — Frosty, very light brown
Latte — Matte off-white
Lezard — Matte dark brown with some micro-shimmers
Burnt Sand — Frosty light copper
The eyeshadows are housed in a plastic casing that locks tightly. With the light plastic casing, only the eyeshadows make this palette slightly heavy. This is very compact that it’s easy to tuck in your purse or convenient on travel which is a plus for me.
The FOTD or makeup is irrelevant to the holiday. I just used that for the title because I went out on that holiday to hang out and magpalamig with Kat. We made some discovery that day — Uniqlo and Claire’s are opening in Glorietta 5 soon. We went OMGOMGOGMOGMOGMOGMOGMGOMGOMG when we saw the huge Uniqlo tarpaulin in the near-empty mall.
Anyway, this was my makeup. Very demure. LOLOL The colors for my eyes are colors of spring — Green and yellow with a little brown which reminds me of sunflowers as many as that in the Big Fish movie. ♥
Happy new year, lovelies! I hope you all had a joyous, safe, and filling celebration. I also hope you took the time to ponder why you are celebrating for the new year’s. Mine was for my accomplishments and lessons learned from all that has happened to me in 2012. I’m grateful to have survived the year. In regards to beauty, I tried to limit my beauty shopping. I told myself I will keep myself from buying anything until I review at least 70% of my makeup. But that kind of failed during the later part of the year. *looks at Estee Lauder purchase* Well, I have no regrets for that purchase. I also tried to be more daring with colors. I used to be afraid bright pink, yet I got myself hooked to fuschias. Also, more friends know now that I really am into makeup especially eyeshadows and lipsticks. 😀
Anyway, even though I was just at home for new year’s, I still thought of preppin’ myself up.
I was checking Estee Lauder’s range of lipsticks at Rustan’s Makati and the Fuschia Fever was recommended to me. I wanted a light and bright pink at first, but when I put it on and checked a few minutes later, I realized how the color is so stunning; very eye-catching. I bought it with some other Estee Lauder gifts (for me). 😀
Excuse the bed hair. ;;;
It lasted for hours too! My tube has yet to be opened so no pics of the actual lipstick for now.
Posting this under the sun and in the middle of grassy land down south. 🙂 Here’s an FOTD; one of my looks for work.
On face and cheeks:
Estee Lauder Smooth Creme Concealer in Smooth Medium 03
Etude House BB Cream Bright Cream Multi-Perfect with SPF15
Physicians Formula Mineral Wear in Translucent Light
Lancôme Blush Subtil in Shimmer Mandarin Sky
Quality isn’t great because I only used my mobile phone. ^^;;; Getting the digital camera then seemed it would take a lot of time. Well, I had to rush for work but I really had to “camwhore” for this look because I liked how it came out.
