I can’t get over the glamour of the female celebrities at the Met Gala 2016. So, I decided to pool our favorite looks.

With sustainability in mind, her Calvin Klein custom-made attire is made from post-consumer plastic bottles and organic silk and cotton. At first I thought that was a skirt and looked disproportionate, but the bottom turns out to be pants. Personally, it reminds me of a pirate, but I ♥ how it could look so classy (as something you could wear in a gala) and re-wearable on other occasions.
I was an avid fan of Archie Comics during my early years and amassed a great collection of single and double digests. Archie and the gang entertained different generations of my family. The love triangle between Archie, Betty and Veronica have been resolved by now but loyal Betty fans, including me, will not accept the conclusion.
Last night, March 8, 2013, MAC Philippines unveiled the Betty & Veronica collection at the Mall of Asia and we were invited to the event. We were brought back to the 50s with the event’s diner-inspired entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, drinks and, of course, the theme which is the beloved comic book Archie.
Last March 22 (Thursday) Shabby and I were at the Ayala Museum where Rags2Riches in collaboration with top designer Rajo Laurel launched an awesometastically colourful summer bag collection: “Athletenique”. The bag line celebrates the philosophy of fitness is fashion, where athletic and ethnic influences collide to create an amalgamation of textures and colors perfect for the season.
Finally getting around to posting about UNFURGIVABLE after _almost_ a month. (This post is photo-heavy.)
UNFURGIVABLE is a campaign of STRIP: Ministry of Waxing Manila for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (P.E.T.A.). The campaign discourages the use of humanized fur. UNFURGIVABLE’s message — Fur is ugly; fur is absolutely unforgivable!
This campaign commenced last January 12, 2012 at Prive Luxury Club that showcased photos by Miguel Miranda and a fashion show by Wanderlust.
Hot Young Designers started releasing introduction videos of the each of the five designers. Let me show first Renan Pacson‘s. He gives a brief background on when and how he started with fashion design. He also stated of his RTW for Hot Young Designers will be opulent and decadent, but will still give you that just-in-a-tee-and-jeans feel.
I remembered about this event while I was fixing things in my room and found the envelope they handed out the night of this event. My bad. ^^;;; Also, since Joiz was with me that night, she had the blogging duty for this on Glam Love. LOL ^^;;; Sorry!
A really dark shot of the guests
(I got too lazy to Photoshop this properly)
This was probably the second event the Glam Love ladies were invited to. I could be wrong though. I think Karen passed the invitation to us since she couldn’t go. O_o
Love to sing in the shower? Oh come on, while the water’s running and you think no one but the shampoo bottles can hear, don’t you just want to belt out a song or two to let out how you feel? Isn’t that refreshing?
Now turn that into a digital contest and what do you get?
Dove’s Showeroke was a competition inviting everyone who loves to sing in the shower to upload a video of them performing a choice of shower song while holding one of Dove’s Go Fresh products (Dove Go Fresh Beauty Bar, Body Wash or Deodorant Stick). Last June 22, 2010, Shabby and I (Karen couldn’t make it) gave witness to Dove’s first ever Showeroke at Strumm’s as 8 finalists duked it out to be the ultimate shower diva.
